I currently have five eBid stores.  Each store has a different focus containing unique and sometimes unusual items.  Most are one-of-a-kind items that may never be found again.  Items that don't seem to fit anywhere are listed in the Knicknacks and Odd Lots store.  Surprise items and close-outs are frequently listed.

ITEM DESCRIPTIONS:

I inspect and try to accurately describe all listed items and sometimes a story or two on its background or history.  I routinely give sizes, colors, any logos, brand, manufacturer, and country of origin.  Accurately researching items before listing them can take hours.  Most listed items are pre-owned or used condition.  Some may be new, never opened and in new-in-box (NIB) condition.

PAYMENT, DELIVERY CONFIRMATION NUMBER, & INSURANCE:

A Delivery confirmation number is added to all packages in addition to the shipping postage charged by the United States Postal Service (USPS).  This is to protect the buyer and seller.  Any excess postage collected will be promptly refunded to the buyer.  Any PayPal generated holds will result in delayed refunds.

The USPS Delivery Confirmation Number, while NOT a tracking number, does provide proof that a package entered the USPS shipping system and was delivered to the buyers address.  End-to-end USPS Tracking numbers are only available on certain premium USPS products.  The Delivery Confirmation Number can be monitored at USPS.com

Breakable items are sometimes double boxed.  This does add to the shipping weight but does improve the likelihood that your purchase will make it to its final destination intact despite the efforts of the USPS.  Double boxing adds 10 ounces at a minimum without cushioning.  Cushioning adds additional weight.  USPS Parcel Post charges by the pound.  If an item weighs between 1-2 lbs, 2-3 lbs, 3-4 lbs - the postage is the same within that pound range.  Most coffee mugs are in the 2 lb range.  If I find that excess postage has been paid, I will immediately credit that amount to your PayPal account.

Posters are shipped in poster tubes.  There is a flat rate of $2.00 for a small shipping tube - larger tubes have an additional rate.  This is the same rate that USPS charges for shipping tubes in the Post Office.

We usually ship the same day or the next business day after receipt of cleared payment.  Holidays do affect shipping times.  USPS First Class Mail usually takes 2-5 business days.  USPS Standard Post can take up to 8 business days.  Heavier items generally take the full 9 business days.  USPS Priority Mail is not subject to the 13 ounce weight rule and may be selected as the only shipping option for breakable or other listed items.  It most instances it will result in only a slightly higher postage cost.

All major credit cards are accepted through PayPal (no registration required).

All orders to be paid within three (3) days of purchase.

1. Payment: We only accept PayPal, and cash for local pickups.
2. We ship within 2 days of receipt of cleared payment.
3. We will combine shipping for multiple items to help save you money.
4. All orders must be paid for within 3 days.
5.  If PayPal puts a hold on your payment, shipment may be delayed.

NON-PAYING BUYER POLICY

eBid policy requires sellers to leave negative or neutral feedback for the non-paying buyer in order to reclaim final value fees.  If I do not receive any communication from the buyer, I will leave negative feedback.  If I hear something from the buyer, I will leave neutral feedback.   The eBid Support Team will remove any retaliatory feedback left by a buyer or seller.

How to pay without having a PayPal account

 

CONDITION

Anything not pictured in listing such as original packaging, tags - they are not included. We personally examine every item, but do not have a microscope. You acknowledge that clothing, cloth and other items may have stains, marks or soiling which are not easily seen i.e. pin-sized holes from staples or other minor defects which were not readily apparent to me upon inspection and were therefore not noted in the item description.

If any such possible defect is in any way important to you, please do not buy.

No representation is made about whether any item has been exposed to smoke, pets or anything else which may cause an odor. You acknowledge that we are not the original owner of any item and do not know the history of any item.

You acknowledge that we not experts on any particular type of merchandise or collectible.

DOMESTIC USA SHIPPING:

Purchases are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) unless the buyer chooses another shipping service.  USPS is the least expensive shipping service for most items.  Packages weighing less than 13 ounces can be shipped using USPS First Class Mail and generally takes 2-3 business days.  Postal regulations require packages weighing over 13 ounces to be shipped via USPS Standard Post which can take 6-8 business days or via USPS Priority Mail (2-5 days). 

Packages weighing over 5 pounds will most likely take the full 9 business days to arrive.  Some detailed package tracking is available through USPS First Class Mail Delivery Confirmation Numbers but not through USPS Standard Post.  If you need your item quickly or need detailed package tracking - please contact us.

All items will have a USPS or UPS Delivery Confirmation Number so that buyer and seller can confirm the item was shipped and delivered.  This will protect the buyer and seller if the package is lost or any potential disputes need to be resolved through the PayPal Buyer Protection Program. 


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

International shipping is available for select items.  If PayPal is not available for your country, purchase is unavailable.  Overseas shipping is expensive.  I do not control the rates set by shippers.  No handling fee is added to the cost of shipping.  Buyer responsible for all applicable taxes like VAT, customs, etc.

GUARANTEE

If an item arrives Significantly Not as Described, please contact me immediately.  Each item is personally inspected and an accurate description attempted to be given.

Merchandise in original shipped condition may be returned for any reason within 3 days of receipt for refund of the purchase amount minus a $3.00 restocking fee, eBid fees incurred, and PayPal fees incurred.  Shipping/handling charges are not refundable under any circumstances. If you paid tax, that amount is refundable. To reduce shipping/handling costs on multiple sale request a combined invoice before purchasing.

**If an order is placed and paid, then you decide to return the item we DO NOT pay any and all fees incurred by PayPal, eBid, or USPS. There is a $3.00 restocking charge imposed over and above the fees incurred either thru PayPal or USPS.  We do not return postage (either direction).**

FEEDBACK:

The eBid feedback system allows both Buyers and Sellers to leave open honest feedback about their transaction experience.  That includes positive, neutral, and negative feedback.  Honest feedback left by Buyers and Sellers makes the system useful in determining whether or not to perform a transaction.  It also helps keep the scammers away from eBid.  The feedback that I leave will be based upon the facts of each individual transaction experience.
