I've a feeling the answer to this question, that has been hanging around in my brain for a while now (getting lonely ), is going to illuminate the differences in how people use ebid...

Why do people want to delete unused pictures from their gallery? What difference does it make?

How many photos can you put in the gallery?

I am in the process of having new templates made.
When I transfer all my listings over to the new templates, I dont want to have to trawl through all the rubbish photos to get to the good photos.

Would I have room in the gallery to add the photos again, save me trawling through pages upon pages of gallery photos?.

I don't think there is any practical limit on the number of images an individual can hold in their Gallery. The only limiting factor would be the capacity of the server used to hold all eBid images.

Just noticed something about My Gallery that I wasn't aware of before...

If you click on the little pictures it pops up a window with a big version in it.

Maybe I am the only one who didn't know that.

Re: OP - if there were an option to delete, surely that would free up server space, therefore helping the site run smoothly?

I refer the honourable Lady to the response I made some moments ago...

eBid automatically deletes old images from your My Gallery area when you and eBid no longer requires them. That is, 90 (75) days after they last appeared in an active listing.

Will go the easy way & add the photos to my gallery when I use the new template. Saves trawling through all the gallery pics to find the photo I want to use.
