    Lightbulb "Hear, hear" or "Here, here"? The answer is ....

    When you agree with someone, do you say "Here Here!" or "Hear Hear"? And what does it mean?

    The correct term is, "Hear, hear!"

    It is an abbreviation for "hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!"

    I think they were called Town Criers, a ceremonial role that still exists in many places. Great job if you like dressing up in a red coat, wig, and white stockings and britches
