Hi
Just managed to get it done - and I have just tested it on 'homemade cards' and there I was on the right hand side!
Can't afford it after the voucher runs out though! Still lets see if it works!
Just a word of advice - it will only take 35 characters or spaces for the URL address so if you have a long username it way not fit on.
Hi Jo,
Good luck with the adwords. If nothing else, it's a good way to see which key words are the most successful and most searched-for for your business. Don;'t forget there's a £5 set-up fee.
Hi Jo,
Nice to hear that you managed to appear on the right-hand side! Excellent, - I hope it brings you in more sales.
I can't rmember how Google Adwords works now. Does it begin to automatically bill you, once the free voucher runs out, or does it just expire?
Re. the 35 characters limit for URLs, I've used www.tinyurl.com to generate a smaller address for printing on my eBid Invoices. (This may be of some help to those reading this who don't know about 'tiny' URLs).
Best wishes, Simon.

Hi Corinne,
Thanks for the info. Much to my shame , I never finished compiling my Google Adwords list !
I got tied-up with arranging alternative payment methods (Google Checkout etc), other promotions, new HTML code for updated listings etc. The list goes on, but that's the 'wacky-world-of-online-auctioning' isn't it? LOL!
Best wishes, Simon.

Yep!
So far ir has cost me about £2.50 for 3 days. I willkep an eye on it so thet I only use it for the free credit period and then call it quits. It charges about 28p for someone who actually looks at your website.
I think I have had 7 viewings. Hopefully they will have had a good look around while they were here!
Well my £30 lasted from 17 Jul 2007 to 2 Sep 2007
I had 83,984 impressions ( the number of times by advert was showing on google when people searched ) and
127 actual clicks to my store on eBid -
sales? well I had 0 sales after spending my £30 credit - which actually cost me £5 to register with them and they deducted that from my bank account at the start.
I had a list of 38 keywords or phrases which helped me to see what words people search for most often, so all was not wasted - it has increased my 'knowledge'.
I am hoping though that as a result of them coming to have a look at my store, they have stopped a while and bought something from someone else.
Just thought that someone may be interested in my experience with Google AdWords - anyone else had any good results?
Only 127 clicks out of 84,000 doesn't seem like much of a result to me and with no resulting sales sounds as though it was an expensive way to acquire knowledge.
