I use an offline html editor to compose my auctions, but when I cut&paste the code into your html window I end up with half the text and pictures outside that poxy little centre section of the window. What's wrong with using the whole width of it instead of wasting most of it with **** that could just as well be above or below the auction listing?- like it used to be

What's wrong with taking a few minutes to learn how to use HTML properly so that your listing adjusts automatically to the width of the available space?

It's not difficult to change the width setting and with the aid of some free software can be done automatically for thousands of documents in one go.

It would be much better if you asked for assistance on how to fix the problem instead of being negative and blaming the site.

Just set your table &/or photo widths to 614 pixels or less, your should be able to do that in any HTML editor.

If you set your table widths to 100% that works every time, all you have to do is ensure your oictures are 614 pixels or less, but I would have thought most images on here would be less than that.

My point was - and still is - that there is a lot of wasted space either side of the silly little center frame where you can put your listing/pics.
614 pixels wide? Don't you mean thumbnails?
Anyway, because of the site limitations I've edited the pics, uploaded the smaller ones to my PWP and changed the pointers in the listing to reflect this.
So far there's no change ...

you've resized the images, but not channged the image size tags in your html
so the pictures are stretched to their original size

Your width should be changed to 606 your height to 455
