I would like to record that i would not be in favour of any kind of 'make me an offer' buttons.

As sellers we already have the opportunity to select our auction starting price, our reserve and a 'buy it now' price, a good seller sets their prices so that they will receive an amount they are satisfied with.

Buyers have the choice of placing a bid at the sellers lowest acceptable rate (eg starting price) or buying the item straightaway at the buy irt now price. I cannot see any requirement for more options, nor would i want to spend additional administrive time dealing with 'make me an offer' type queries.
