which i wouldnt mind if they came out with SENSIBLE things tut

so the verdict is they have absolutely no sense of humour - whatever next? ban cards depicting animals in case the recipient is offended just in case they do look like a certain animal

take cards off the market that actually have your age on the front - happy birthday you are ten, happy birthday you are 60 etc etc

My funniest Birthday present was a pair of wind up racing grannies on zimmer frames. This great grandma thought it was hilarious. They even do racing grannies in wheelchairs that zoom round a scalectrix type track. I think that's funny too, though the PC bunch won't like it. Before they say it's ageist, sexist, anti disability, whatever, why don't they try asking us if we object? No-one has ever asked me if I am offended by OAP gags, cards or presents. I'm just grateful I still have family and friends that care enough to joke about it. I could be like some of the people I used to work for, whose families only turned up like vultures if they were ill, and forgot about them the rest of the time. They never even got a birthday card unless I sent them one. The rude ones used to really make them laugh.
