So often when people complain about low sales it is down to the fact that their auction descriptions are pretty awful.

How many times do we have to see auctions with one or two line descriptions for items that most people have no clue as to their use, size or specifics? Or auctions that give no details at all?

Would you bid on auctions that just said:

    Wooden box. Good condition.
    or
    Latch hook. Not often used.
    or
    Nice shirt. With patterned bits.

    No, I wouldn't either.

Quite honestly folks, if you can't be bothered to spend a little time producing an attractive, informative auction, then why do you expect potential customers to spend their time either looking at or bidding on your stuff?

i think thats a bit harsh it may apply to some but not to all i worked my backside off doing 12 hours straight uploading my stock but when i sold on here it was very quiet (i did about 12 sales i think) but everyone said it would pick up as ebid was advertised more
so that was why i was asking is it still very quiet here customer wise?
