    Not sure what you didn't know how to do... since you have managed to put the same post everywhere... you could have gone to the postage forum perhaps and just posted there. This thread was to say thank you to G&M for the new Stores... not for complaints about postage.

    Several scenarios come into play regarding this -

    1. The users in question are new to eBid and ex-eBay where they are used to fee-avoiding by loading the P&P - they soon learn it isn't neccesary here

    2. This is an international site and maybe you didn't spot the location of the item .... but click the link in my signature below to see that even then it isn't neccesary to inflate postage charges.

    3. The seller may be a business and they have included into the charge for P&P an element for their time to wrap, address and take to the post office - I've always maintained that such a "surcharge" should be in the item price, but some sellers may be using cost & profit centre allocation in their accounting. If they employ someone to take care of the "post room" then it's acceptable to do that.

    4. Consider the cost compared to companies using next day couriers and offering a flat rate minimum charge between 7 and 10 quid.
