And I have just put all my woolies away LOL

Life is serious but taking it too seriously robs you of
happiness, fun and productivity
"Ne'er cast a clout, 'til May is out"
(Or June, July, August in this country!!!)
Not surprised at all...it snowed in April 1974 here in Manchester ....I took a photo in my front garden....
Can you prove it was April??? Huh? Huh?
Don't need to prove it , kaz but we had just got back from Tenerife on our honeymoon and it was shortly after that they had the 2 jumbo crash on the runway...
The nastest bit of late bad weather I remember was about 20 years ago. I had trays of veg. and flower seedlings started off in the greenhouse and hardened off in the cold frame. June 1st I planted them out. On the morning of June 2nd, most of them were dead as we had a -3 degree C frost.
Mind you, when we got married I had spent the previous few days at the open air swimming pool as there had been a March heatwave. On the day of our wedding it rained bucket loads, and the next day we woke up to snow. I think someone was trying to tell me something.
I can remember us having a bad snow in April, 1996 cos I had to push my eldest who was 9 months old at the time in a pram up the bl00dy hill in it. At least if it snows now I live at the bottom of the hill
