Pirated Software

A Ebid seller sold me some Pirated Software and eBid is aware of this seller and other but takes zero steps to stop this. They just look the other way. I am out the money I paid and the bootleg software seller are up and active and doing well on Ebid. Any idea why they support the sale of illegal software?

When raising issues/accusations such as you have it is normal for the person to post the listing ID - so could you please do that of the software you are referring to? Thanks.

I had an experience with the purchase of pirated software, and it was quite an unpleasant situation. I took the road of reporting this formally to the real company. They thanked me for doing it and indicated that all too often this goes unreported.

What interested me about this Seller making all those accusations was that the Seller chose not to post the Item ID or reply to Gazza's request for a ticket number.

The OP was on this, their own thread, for a lengthy period of time that day - but failed to offer any shred of evidence that this was, in fact, a true event he/she was describing.

There is no doubt in my mind that the whole event the OP described was pure fiction. Until some evidence of truth is offered I will continue to doubt their story.

If the OP sought to "make waves" then they spectacularly failed!

Perhaps. My experience happened long ago, and I reported it to eBid. I also reported it to the other side, as I had sold one of the items there, and had to refund the buyer with an apology.
