I have been on here for donkeys years and never searched for my own store on the home page before.

Probably just as well.

Have searched again under eBid Store Categories and all is as it should be. Doing the same for your store by Username: Sopicat1, your listings show.

I wonder what is the point of having a 'delete store' button then if it doesn't delete ?
Also I know I'm repeating myself to the point of boredom, but according to my 'back office' I don't have a store !

According to your All-About Sopicat1 page you have NO store. You have 2 listings that are not in a store. Others may think you have a store because the image you have for the page looks like a store logo.

But I didn't look at her All About page..... I clicked on her forum signature and saw two listings? Why would they show by that means?

I don't see that she has a forum signature. In any event, when you click on a forum signature it goes to where it is set up to go. It can go to your listings (like mine does) or it can go to a store or it can go anywhere.

P.S. actually my forum signature directs you to 4 different places depending on what you click

It seems I can't even delete it properly.

Deleting a store does not delete any listings that are in it; they continue to exist but not in a store and will run until they close naturally. You will have to delete them as listings if you want rid of them.

There is a walkthrough on setting up a store here. It is a little out of date but the majority is valid.
