I was just getting ready to start a project and saw this label on my yarn.

The ball of wool is 100% pure new wool - but I've never seen a sheep run on grass?

They always seem to be feeding while standing still?

Ps Just started my project and I am still tickled pink at the thought of my ball of wool running on grass.

I was in Aldi's yesterday and saw a sign reading :"Lightly dusted fish"; there was a choice of cod or haddock. I went on my way wondering how much dust had been left on the fish, and of what type that was!

Aldi's yet again! I have just returned feeling terribly old and in a state of collapse. They were offering "foldable dog ramps" for sale. This reminded me of my poor crippled "Willow", the one I mentioned who died a few months back. This old girl would crawl in from the garden and collapse, prior to folding hrself up. So I'm waiting for something to deal with that.....

I'm more than a little worried. Our local Catholic Women's League has organised an event for tomorrow afternoon n the Parish Hall. I was pressed into buying a ticket for it last week. It's going to be a cream tea, for which the CWL is renowned, so a shrt while ago I chcked that the ticket was in my wallet...I'd paid £5 for it as it's for charity.
To my horror, I read the words: "Vintage Cream Tea"!! I'm hoping that "traditional" was meant as I'd much prefer fresh cream!

Called for lunch at a local village pub with my sister today, lovely it was too and the landlord was telling us about his vintage meals, was not quite sure what he meant by vintage meals but he gave us a leaflet about them and other offers available on reading it can only think that vintage now refers to OAP's, now I think I like the sound of vintage better than OAP

Yes indeed! It does sound better...so do "veteran" and in my case, "antiquated!"
