It really brings it home after the clocks change that we are in the dark half of the year. Happy New Year and may your ancestors protect you this eve

Do you do anything to celebrate or to mark the occasion?

We have a lovely meal and lay a place for those that have gone before us. Bread for earth, incense for air, candle for fire and wine for water is also placed on the table. We take a few minutes to remember those family and friends that have died then we celebrate the coming of the dark half of the year. A libation is given to the earth after we are finished, All in all it is a good night,
