After seeing the new stats and seeing Ebid raise one rank, its good to see but should be a lot better imo
I've only started listing here for maybe 2 weeks now and never felt the urge to use this site due to the
low stats especially visitors, the site is good, easy of us is good, very fair fees and no
money greed involved like certain other sites but and I'm being honest here - I never even knew it existed
until a few months ago
I looked at ETSY - A so called handmade/vintage site which is now riddled with mass produced items - Its
turning into EBAY but its working
Bonanza - Probably the best site i've ever used - The booth function was superb and I can't say anything
bad against the site except its totally American based and they only advertise to the US even on the UK
version of their site - So I stopped wasting my time there until they get it sorted out
Others just simply want a lot of money for you to start doing anything and don't use that money to benefit
you
I hate EBAY but it is still my main place because thing sells there and I have no alternative
Ebid is still not being seen as a viable place to sell and buy for most people, everyone I know says if
they need something they look at Ebay and amazon and if I suggest Ebid most have not heard of it
I've noticed one thing about this site - There are next to zero Foreign Country mass produced sellers which is great
but its also what's reducing visitors and sales. I myself would prefer not to see mass produced stuff spamming
this place but maybe you could add STORES categories for that stuff EG a category named China Imports only. Only making it
usable in stores will stop people spamming the main sales area and they would need to upgrade to make one
I like this place its very user friendly, its actually British which is a rarity nowadays and I would like to make this my new
home but there's just not enough traffic
It would be great if you could start an advertising run and I'm sure most here wouldn't mind paying a few % more on sale
fees to help and lets be honest 2-3% more would have little impact when you compare it to Ebay and so on
Sorry for the long post and fingers crossed the site keeps climbing the ranks
