Unable to list ISBN Number For Book

Hi, I am having problems with one of my listings, I have tried several times to list the ISBN number, but each time I enter it and launch the listing it changes to the barcode number. The result of this is that if someone searches for it using the ISBN, which is more likely than using the barcode they will not be able to find it.

I thought that the 13 digit barcode number is the ISBN number, and replaces the old 10 digit number.

There are converters available for changing obsolete 10 digit ISBN into 13 digit ISBN

I believe that is correct, Bill. I always use the 13 digit barcode number when listing books.

Yes you guys are probably right about that, I took another look at the book and it was (c) 1974; that surprised me I hadn't realised that barcode scanners had been around for that long. Thanks
