Custom listings now missing graphic on all listings

Thank you astral276. Then why would it show for 8 months and disappear in one day on all listings? Positioning problems don't show up overnight unless the coding was changed, which it wasn't. And, when I create a listing and change from html to WYSSG the graphic shows as it should. It's when it goes "live" that it disappears.

I can't say, but if I had to guess I would hazard that the eBid page code has been changed. As your template is not written to be insulated from such an event then it is liable to be being affected.

You should never switch between the eBid HTML and WYSIWYG editors as that can alter your code due to the WYSIWYG editor enforcing certain rules on the code.

Update. I just went into a listing to change the quantity and the graphic briefly appeared where it should be and then disappeared.

Resolved! I noticed some slight changes when looking at the code generated by eBid, made a couple of changes, tested on 3 listings and the graphic is back. Thank you everyone for your help and insight. Now to change all those listing, uhg, lol

Personal opinion only! I wanted to establish a theme for my listings to help establish my brand so it would be recognized anywhere as I grow the business. I sell on other platforms and I get a lot of first time buyers who are always a bit hesitant. They have told me they felt a sense of trust with my listing format which is what you want from your buyers. I'm still a long way off from developing my brand the way I want it to be but I work at it every day.

You stated in your OP, 'I also use this same template on other sites' so has it had any impact on sales?

Yes it has because it sets me off from others and it looks more professional. There was a clear uptick for me when I changed to using a template instead of the plain Jane just like everyone else format.
