I think this is a problem caused by eBid only being allowed 99 items for sale so, would this work?
Let's say 250 items sold at 10p = £25.
Use a PayPal invoice for the amount only - under the 'My templates' section on top left - discounts etc. are also available. You can list the individual items but that would take some.
