    It really depends on how you intend using them. Do you want to use them just as pencils? Are you going to apply them to wet paper? Use a wet brush after? There are many ways of using.

    I always used Derwent Inktense.

    I want to use them on vinyl to shade a dolls face and draw eyebrows so they must have very good pigment. so it will be a case of draw and seal with liquitex matt varnish.
