And finally, on a last minute stroll down the beach, whilst Miss eBid was catching up on her beauty sleep, we heard the sound of bagpipes being played and found an exile from over the borders practising his skills .....

I've got a bed ready in the hope that Miss eBid will visit Essex soon, and be corrupted by an Essex Girl (written by me), just teasing, my Essex Girl days are long gone, Miss eBid will be safe with me



I'll find somewhere else for Saphire and Tiffany to sleep for a few weeks.

Yes they'll be appearing later today Annie Miss eBid wants to move on to pastures new so she'll be in this YDC - when I get my act together!

For Miss eBid's swan song she had a memorable trip with penguin, squirrel and a certain chocolate loving American.

She was swept off her feet by a knight in shining armour -



and had a very dubious marriage at Gretna Green ....



.... after which she got some much needed advice from Darby and Joan.



Along the way she helped fire a cannon - is that a penguin disappearing over the tree-tops?



.... met a relative of squirrel (before eating some lovely home-made chocolate cake)



... and gave a royal wave to the Ullswater steamer.



But her favourite moment had to be meeting the Gretna Green piper.




She is now looking forward to moving on to pastures new this YDC - can anyone give her a loving home?
