Have I gone OTT with colours?

The store front looks fine, but when I clicked on the Come On England earrings and started to read the description, the bright yellow was too bright IMHO. A softer pastel shade would still be colorful, but easier on the eyes.

the page you linked to with listings and a rainbow top left looked fine i havent looked at a listing

the yellow back ground on a listing is a tad strong

but i like the rainbow!

You're most welcome. Blue and white sounds nice. I like yellow, too, just not the neon shades, my old eyes can't take it, LOL.

How about starting again with a blue butterfly to tone with the store logo? Or does it have to be the pink? Does it have to be so "in your face"?
Then again, I'm just an old fashioned fuddy duddy penguin...

The pink butterfly is my sort of logo (I regret not using a butterfly border template for Party Supplies listings) it's even on my return address labels. Though I have listened to your comments and found out how to remove the big pink butterfly so only the butterfly border remains.
