Do not count seller views of auctions to "views" total

I was "really" logged in when mine did not register.

So it works OK for you as well.

Make sure you are really logged in. Log out then log back in and then try it again and see if the count changes.

Yep... it adds to views count whenever i click my own auctions.

Even if I do not click my own auctions... the views count are always crazy... and I mean crazy.. very misleading to those who do not know better.
Almost 6 Years this has been going on for me.
Click once, view count goes up one.... come back in 5 minutes and that view count is 3 or 4 higher. (as mentioned in one of my comments above)
Something in the code needs big time fixin.
