'Wanted' deletion, please.

Could someone tell me how to delete a 'wanted' thread, please?

I have closed the thread as the item has now been found, but cannot delete. Have tried 'administrative' but, presumably, once closed, it cannot be deleted?

I think you need to open the thread before you can delete it.

​To delete a thread you need to delete the first post and then the thread will disappear. I haven't tried doing it on a closed one though, you might have to reopen it and then delete.

I am glad that you were able to find a solution to your dilemma. When I saw your post, I immediately started laughing for while you are at your 'Wits' end trying to figure out how to delete a thread, I am desperately endeavoring to accomplish the total opposite. The irony, my dear, is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
