What a remarkable advancement!! And adorable dog!!

I wish they were ready to go now....have an elderly friend in town who is so depressed after losing her husband, her son, most of her sight, and now her only other son. The only other family, two distant relatives, are very ill, and she feels so closed off. If she could see better, she would be able to cope better, and not be so fearful of the future. Bring on such helpful technology!

I think Lyn shows huge courage in trialling them - she has to give them back each time & go back to being blind.

She does! It would be hard to take them off. Yet it must be wonderful for her to know that help is on the semi-near horizon, and a real possibility in her future. My friend, I fear, won't be around at the time they become mainstream.

Thats brilliant news it's so good when you hear about things like this being in the making, hope they get them ready for use soon. And full marks to LYN for trialing them and so sad she has to give them back each time.
