For goodness sake you asked a question I answered. The rest of your post is covered by "let alone spend time optimising" but I only focused on the API because quite frankly managing inventory is the biggest issue for most multi-channel sellers and if they can't manage then they won't list.
Now I'm quite happy for you to disagree with me and explain why you think the lack of an API shouldn't be an issue should you wish to. However you look like you're grasping at straws using my API answer to accuse me of looking for excuses to bash eBid
