I just use my website as a general site, listing items I sell on here and link them back to my stores etc.
Whatever suits your style for your website and what your comfortable with.
To me, a blog indicates dialogues about your interests etc.
Personally, I steer clear of the affiliate link to eBid because you have to disclose your Tax # and SS# and those are 2 items I will not reveal on the internet.
I put a picture of an item on Craigslist one time and then said. It is for sale on Ebay. Item #0000000000000000000 and Craigslist took it off of there faster than I could blink.
Then on Craiglist you have to deal with the people in person most of the time. On Auction sites you just get to mail it out to them
Yes I think Craiglist is really just to sell directly to a customer, but I have had links to my stores on there for quite a while with no problem, someone might come across them while looking for something else.
Every way you can get links to your shops seen is worth a try, especially as its free
Thanks for the post. I have now created a listing on there but whether it creates any traffic I'm not sure but at least its free,
Heres the link to my listing http://www.everyplaceisell.com/cgi-b...761&XwwaOXLwka
I've had an entry on Every Place I Sell for about 3 years now.
"Visit Anniemcc at EveryPlaceISell.com
http://www.everyplaceisell.com/cgi-b...&&XkwwGXkXkX&R "
No idea if it generates any sales for eBid, but it's free and I keep updating my entry when requested.
