    Default Ugh!!! Google failure

I did a Google search for an item. Ebid was #1 on top, please notice date (Aug 8, 2011) as auction ended months and months ago, so auction link was not valid.. #3 was Ebay with a valid auction link. Please also note this is for a valid auction running on Ebid, but link takes you to a ended one.

Yeah, I've noticed that on several items on google search. Do not know where the problem lies....google or eBid.

We should remember that Google ls supposed to be a search engine.
    NOT a shopping/auction promotion site.

Imho its search result are very poor these days.

Quite often I search for a subject I am interested in, it throws up some forum post that is 4 years old in one of the top 2 or 3 results.

I only ever looked up 'Google Shopping' the once.

I tend to use 'Shopzilla' for comparing websites...or if I want to see what's on the auction sites I use the regular Google search.

I don't care at all whether or not my products are on Google Shopping as I don't know anyone in my real world life that has ever heard of it, let alone used it.
