overseas buyer blocked

any suggestions on this one ? The guy emailed me to say thankyou but was blocked from ebid.

Hi there,

Many thanks for the comic "World of Wym". It arrived extremely fast and was in excellent condition.

I'm afraid, though, that I am unable to rate you on eBid as they have blocked my login. I am British, have a UK bank account, and active delivery address (my parents), but currently live in New Zealand. For security reasons, when I registered with eBid, they didn't like the fact that I registered in one county to buy an item from another country and blocked me shortly afterwards. Luckily, I was at least still able to pay for the item.

Anyway, just thought it would be considerate for me to explain why I haven't been able to give you a positive rating.

The buyer should have registered through the New Zealand site. It is an eBid requirement, but can cause issues with people (such as military personnel) who are abroad temporarily.

The only way to try and resolve the situation, if your buyer wishes to, is for them to contact admin, explain, and ask their advice.

Sounds a good, polite buyer - it would be a shame to lose them.

All I can suggest is contact support@ebid.net....or have the buyer do so, as astral said.

Agree with the above, do have the buyer contact support, they should be able to take care of things.

Oh and congrats on your sale, sounds like a lovely buyer.
