Default An Adminstrator blocked my selling account?

Hello, this is Ernest. I was just selling a HP Elitebook 8560P 15.6" I5-2410M. After the next day, I login in and was unable to sell anything, this was the messsage:

Please upload scans of the following documents. Once checked and verified your account will be accessible once again.

    1. Utility bill no more then three months old with your name and address visible. (Gas, electric or landline phone. No cell/mobile bills.)

    2. Valid passport or driving license.

    Alternatively
If you have significant feedback (10+ positive within the last 6 months) from another established auction site just sign in to Repatoo.com, assign and verify any selling accounts you have elsewhere.

When I first register on eBid, I don't remember all these recommended details. Did you? They say on my email that you must verify from Repatoo to claim you are the true user, I guess verifying from emails don't claim to be the real user for them...

So, you are telling me you either have to pay $8.00 for Rebatoo, or have documents to your own house bills or driver's license? I would love a car or have credit for a house. But the main reason why I am on eBid is to sell products to make money. I need more money to get a car and have credit to apply for a house.

Did anyone have to use this experience?

It doesn't matter what operating system, or web browser. So I was at the mall using Macs with OS X lion, and HP and Dell with Windows 7.

You are a brand new member and offering a high priced item which has triggered off eBid's verification/security system to avoid scammers. This is to check that you are who you say you are and need to go through the process before eBid allows you to sell. Go ahead and finalize what you need to do. Once eBid receives what they requested, then you'll be free to sell other high priced items without check up. There is no fee for repatoo, it is just to verify with eBid you are genuine.

This was raised the other day. I said then that eBid may have to re-think its use of Repatoo as a verification/feedback import means. Clearly they haven't.

We will be implementing a change to our feedback import procedure now that Repatoo have introduced a charge.

    OP
Here in NZ we have had a couple of high profile scam sellers on our Trademe auction site. Poeple are calling for some sort of check on new members. This is why ebid requests proper ID for high priced items.

Ebid has fair rules and enforces them.
Ebay has unfair rules and does not enforce them.

That sucks.. I've been unable to list new items for a while because I was invoiced for 2 items with nonpaying buyers, I've contacted admin and been told to do the same thing twice, but like I explained the usual mark as unpayed bit I cant do because I can't find sales history of the transactions..
