Improving Search

Agree with search improvement totally. I meant to start a thread about it. Why is it easier to find ebid items on Google than on ebid itself? Feebay search is much better too. For example, when I want to search for something that has more than one version on feebay and it says "4th version" on most titles, I search for the item name and 4 and it brings up 4th. That is, ABC 4 will bring up ABC 4th.

That's fine if you know how it works. How many people have searched and gone elsewhere?

The improved search engine subject was also brought up in the thread about more sub-categories, and many agreed with it there too.

Even when searching through my own items, i have noticed differences for singular and plural items, or having a space between some words.

Could really do with an improvement on it.

Need to see thumbnails in all searches. It takes forever to read every title when very few have thumbnails! I just did a search on a couple of items and seems like more than 50% of the items listed had no thumbnail in the search. I got tired and gave up! Are other potential buyers having the same problem???

Unfortunately not everyone chooses to use a gallery pic' which would show a thumbnail in search.
*This is why the majority here advise a gallery listing.
