Of course nothing I have listed on CL has anything to do with my items on ebid, just stuff I've had around the house for years.
One thing to keep in mind, any messages not pertaining to your offerings should not be answered on CL.
There are people trying to pick up email addresses for negative reasons.
I'll only answer an ad for someone who gives me their name, and location, a lot leave me their phone #s
As with everything else these days, use common sense.
I too get the occasional 'is it still for sale' or 'can I come look at them' or 'so what' emails (really stupid stuff) from my ads and just delete them but have had some good ones. My hubby has had a lot of success selling stuff through CL

I'm also a ebay convert, I've been listing on ebid and also listing my items on craigslist at the same time. If you want to promote Ebid try this. Offer a discount to anyone who bids on your item at ebid.net through your craigslist listing , If a craigslist buyer see's this they sign up for ebid.net to make the purchase and this will benefit ebid.net in the long run. make sure you put a link to the auction in your craigslist post

I've used CL for promoting my items on ebid and have made a few sales that way. The CL in the Tampa area has all kinds of people linking their items to other sites so figured I'd try it. So far have not received a stern email from CL but then again I don't list a lot on there.

Hmmm, haven't tried this, though a friend has had excellent luck selling two cars via Craigslist in recent months. Of course he was lucky and didn't get many BS e mails, as the cars sold in under a week each.

Will definitely look into this when I get a chance, thanks for the heads up.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
