Thread: Lost my ad

  1. #1

    Smile Lost my ad

Hi, I built my first ad on eBid and decided to save it in defaults before I listed it. Now I can see the ad in defaults but I do not see a populate tab to list the item.

I contacted eBid, they said look for the populate tab, but I just do not see it in the defaults area anywhere.

    Any help, many thanks
    PW

I should be in the edit area when creating a listing.

It's not in your My Defaults, it's on the listing page near the top:

    Name: a.png
Views: 76
Size: 4.1 KB

Click on that and your saved item will be under the left hand drop-down list:

You have interesting items but I have 2 problems with them.

    1) You are charging tax to anyone in the state sales tax to persons living in Nevada. You can't do that as you are not a registered business here on eBid. Your status shows Individual so you will need to remove the tax bit.

    2) This statement:
...from an eBayer you've trusted since 1998...

I've never heard of you before, why should I trust you? Besides, eBid is what matters, not Ebay.

    and this statement:

If you are concerned or have questions:
Please contact us before you leave feedback, we have been offering discounted top line products on eBay since 1998 and have earned customer trust because we consistently make our fellow eBay family members happy. Thanks again for your purchase and have a great week! (rollrjigs)

That puts me right off. I'm not interested what you are selling on Ebay, I'm only interested what you are selling here.

    Oh and 3rd:
It would be better if you list your items 'live' with ie 7 - 8 - 10 days run time with up to 10 auto relists. RUS (Run Until Sold) remain at the bottom of eBid's search list, while 'live' listings eventually find their way to the top for all to see.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi
I checked out a few of your listings also - cute! - and spotted ecommerce links on all of them. They are not allowed on listings, Me pages and forums. You will need to remove them before your listings are removed with no explanation.

    Hope this helps you.
