OK still a major problem "no server found" Now Ebid want me to submit my passport or utility bill to them which means I cannot access my account for 24 hours. Christ this is pure hell of an auction site, I think I will cancel my account. I spend more time trying to find a fixit solution only to have ebid come back with another issue.

Don't give up ! Asking for a passport or utility bill is quite normal the owners do their upmost to keep this site secure for all sellers and buyers which is a good thing and helps keep scammers at bay. Which ISP do you use ? Somebody else has reported that they are having problems with TalkTalk.

I have never heard of that server problem with ebid.

yes ebid have a strict security check for some types of sellers (high priced items ?)

Just bear with it and you will be away.

Geeze theyre being snots about quitting my account.
If only they could fix the bugs I will gladly carry on with Ebid but at this moment in time paying for another month is just rediculous.

Ferlan - I'm having similar problems too but it's not just on eBid. I had probs with Facebook, eBay, and yesterday on the National Lottery site I was about pulling my hair out! I'm just about to get in touch with Talktalk cos I really don't think eBid is at fault here. As I said in another thread - there's only TWO of us appear to have this problem out of THOUSANDS of members. I started asking here because it was the logical place to do so given the amount of people who use the Forums - and usually asking here gets thing sorted. But again, since there's only the two of us, it CAN'T be eBid at fault!

It is not eBid, I use Google Chrome, Fire Fox and IE and they all do that once in a while. With Internet Explorer, I cannot access anything on eBid (not eBid's fault) but when I switched to Google Chrome all works just fine. I can only use Fire fox to print labels in PayPal,(not eBid's fault). Google Chrome is not supported by Overstock get the same message every time I go to Overstock (you are using a browser not supported by Overstock) again this is not the fault of eBid.
