Thread: 3% fees?

  1. #1

    Default 3% fees?

Hi, i havn't sold anything yet so im not a seller+ at the moment, but for a while im going to stay as a basic seller and see how it goes, as i am currently doing a lot on eBay, but their fees are just outrageous, i just wanted to know, is the 3% final value including postage or without postage? so if i sold something for £100 with £10 postage, would it be a £3 fee or a £3.30 fee?
i know 30p isnt a big deal but its just easier if i know when im working out costs

    thanks for any help

The 3% is on the sale price of just the item.
So if you sold a £100 item with £10 postage the fvf would be £3.00

Raindropsies beat me to it by 1 second.

I'm pretty sure ebid's fvf are based on the selling price of the item without shipping.

The best deal on ebid is to join as a Seller+ for lifetime.
That was you get free listing with a gallery pic and the fvf is only 2%

Sales on ebid are not as fast as on ebay of course, but they are growing, and the key is to list a wide variety if you can.

You could say that ebid's fees are a "dropsies" in the bucket.

The person has already said that they only want to stay as a seller status. You can still list for free as seller.
