Gazza & Mark own eBid, Gazza seems to deal with most of the technical stuff, & posts more frequently.
Somewhere there is a photo of the two of them, I'll see if I can find it.
In the mean time, especially for certain ladies, who can be found lurking on the KT,
here's one he made earlier.

It was made in 2007, so don't go looking for happy hour auctions, they are no more

Right now, the 'ebid.co' domain is registered by 'GoDaddy' and can be Gazza's for the sum of £43. If he is really interested in protecting and growing the Ebid brand, he should get over there and buy it before someone else does.
To be honest, any decent business knows the importance of registering every available version of the '.' after the company name part as it stops rivals hijacking the domain name.
All good things come to those who wait, and wait, and wait.....
I'd forward that info on to him personally at support@ebid.net . It might get buried in here at the forum!
@James
I know what you are saying,
But does anyone really know about the .co domain names.
Most have a country suffix after them eg ebid.co.nz
Its the .com one that they need
And I think Mark is more of the marketing partner of the two.
What about .biz ?
(and I won't even mention the new ebid.xxx ....... he he
You have to stop somewhere though.
I own the domain name baconsdozen.co.uk and have trade as such for over twelve years.
Every few weeks I'm asked if I want to but baconsdozen.net com .this that and the other.
I also get bombarded with emails from people who've registered a similar sounding name and are offering to sell it to me etc etc.
Ebid dot com might be worth them having, they should with hindsight have started off with it in the first place.
In the US people naturally type .com. I thought .biz was business to business could be wrong about that.

But eBid is unique & so is eBid.net,why have anything else?
Because ... most people automatically type xxxyyyzzz.com - for the same reason that many people, including myself, also prepend the domain name with www - that regarding www, on some sites you HAVE to use it or you get a "site not found" result, it depends on how the site has been built and structured.
The correct top level domain for USA sites is xxxyyyzzz.us, just as the correct top level domain for uk is xxxyyyzzz.uk, but due to local regs that's not allowed (many countries do this) and we have to use xxxyyyzzz.vv.uk Commerce and commercial sites are what xxxyyyzzz.com was designated for - but try telling that to any domain owners who are not companies or who do not run commercial sites, especially if they're American. Most Americans believe dot com should be exclusively used by American sites and falsely believe it signifies a site that is American owned .... note I said "most" and not "all" Americans, so please don't lynch me if you're one of the educated ones.
what this leaves us with is that the most natural direct typed form of address for eBid is ... www.ebid.com ... and for ebid country sites is www.ebid.com/country
Neither the eBid members, nor owners, can change the world's habits, but between us, we could change the site's address to what the world expects it to be.
