    Default Need Help Please - New to eBid - Uploading, Catagories, Support

    I'm trying to upload products into my store. I'm using open office and yes I've saved my file as tab deliminator in cvs format and it still doesn't work, so I finally just saved as a zip. I've uploaded 4 different zip files and it still says 0 products???

    It says 0 errors and 0 need correcting so where are my products??

    Also can I list one item into multiple store categories??

    Example :
    I have a black corset

    Categories :
    Black Corset
    Authentic Corsets

    (I've separated them because some people want cheaper and some want authentic.)

    So I want to list my black authentic corset into both store categories, is this possible, if so then how as I tried to separate categories with : in upload file but nothing is uploading.

    Finally where is the support??? You click "Contact Us" and it takes you to questions that don't answer your questions??

    A suggestion for a site improvement would be :

    Store Setup for Dummies!
    Do a YouTube tutorial on setting up a bulk upload and show each column.
    Show step by step instructions from beginning to end and answer questions to every scenario ie. listing in single, multiple categories, multiple stores, etc..

    Also have a contact form on the contact us page so people can contact you! If you want people to refer eBid to other companies then it has to be user friendly so that all levels of computer knowledge is able to use your site.

    Also my store isn't listed in the directory? I thought life time membership put you as a featured store, hence why I purchased it. I am nowhere to be found?

    a quick note also, i did read the page that goes through each column and yes it did help but obviously still missing answers that I cannot find on here ie. listing in several store categories.

    Good evening neighbor and welcome to eBid,

    As I understand you, you want to list 1 item in different categories in different stores, therefore, ending up as duplicate listings which is not allowed.

    As to you trying to upload several listings in one go, I think you need to use the Ninja Lister.

    I don't use the Ninja Lister so I won't be able to help you with that.

    You can contact support at any time by clicking on Help (top right corner) then Contact Us then click on the 'click here to open a support ticket' link.

    Also, check out the fantastic help videos also found in the Help section by clicking on the HTV (How To Videos) tab.

    Seller+ Lifetime membership does not offer featured store on the front page. This feature is rotational and every store receives brief exposure for free.

    As for your stores visibility on the stores list - the less items you have for sale, the further down the page you sit (or next page, or the one after that).

    thank you miss jeweleffects! I've been searching for help for 4 days now!

    the ninja uploader is french to me, dont understand it at all. I am not getting any errors when i upload my zip file but it still doesn't add products?? but I will open a support ticket now that I know how!!

    also HTV didn't know what that meant until now thanks!!

    Have you double-checked your "my bulk upload" page to make sure there are no files there waiting for corrections, or to be processed further?

    yes there is nothing there. it shows files uploaded but it says 0 products 0 corrections
