There's been various discussions on the forum about domain names and whether a .net is less preferable to a .com for whatever reasons which seemed to boil down to trust or a lack of. Well, I noticed the other night after an attack of careless fingers that www.ebid.co.uk also works and redirects to www.ebid.net - however, storename.ebid.co.uk doesn't work.
Given that .co.uk usage is common in the UK, would it be worthwhile setting things up so that storename.co.uk does work, then the .co.uk could be used by sellers in their efforts to advertise and promote eBid. I would assume (perhaps wrongly) that a redirect of all x.ebid.co.uk addresses to x.ebid.net shouldn't be impossible
Just a thought.
