How come eBid Forums don't use the site favicon?
When you're over on auction side, all your browser tabs have the mini eBid logo as the favicon, but here on the forums we get the boring vBulletin notepad and pen.
I'd have thought having a unified favicon on all parts of the site would be part of the overall branding?
er... they swapped to the logo favicon on the forums earlier this year when somebody else asked that question. It looks fine to me now!
still not getting it here on the forums - wonder if it's because I'm coming in via email links instead of through the site homepage?
The way it should work is that as long as they have the rel= statement in the header of the forums script page (in the <head> section) then it should pervade throughout the forums regardless of how you arrive .... unless they have done something smart-alec with it so it only shows to people from the "eBid countries" on the site home page? Thailand is not yet on that list.
Ah well - yet another mystery in the alter-dimensional universe that is eBid.
