I think (am not sure on this) that you have to be a merchant to use that logo on your items. Here on eBid you are not the merchant - eBid is. That is why they submit your items to Google.

Here on eBid you use Google Checkout as a payment processor and not as a checkout as such.
Well I would hope that somehow eBid could get that changed to include the cart showing on those eBid listings that accept Google Checkout. I mean, what's the sense of having our listings show up in Google Products if they "appear" not to accept Google Checkout???

I am endlessly amazed at the depth of checking and testing that other sellers do - I think I just release my stuff into the wild and hope they make it. ;o)
ROFL!! Kim, I must admit I do the same thing...throw caution to the wind...yikes!!

It's still good to have the items listed. The google checkout icon would be a plus, but it's not essential. It's not as if only people paying by checkout will use the search. But it would be nice if that "google checkout only" tick box included our stuff, for sure.

As not even the products I upload from my own website has the Google cart against them I have been looking into this. Google requires a long list of things to happen before allowing the badges to appear

Useful link. As thought...does not suit the selling by auction site model.

Google Checkout even makes it hard for people to use on their own websites as they insist you can only use GC through their own shopping cart. This means I have two carts on my site. One for just Google and the other for all the other payment methods I accept.
