Thread: Option to Bulk Delete or End Auctions

  1. #1

Default Option to Bulk Delete or End Auctions

An Option to Bulk Delete or End Chosen Auctions in Bulk Edit would be useful

It might be useful but it would take a long time to close/delete items that way. It'd be much quicker (and easier) if you used the 'closed', 'delete', 'all close' or 'all delete' buttons on the 'auctions I'm running' pages rather than pick and load a bucket into the bulk editor.

Doing a search in "auctions I'm running" is only any good if you want to delete items with the same titles or if they all have the same word in that you can search for.
What I am suggesting this option for is if you want to delete for instance all items in a particular category with completely different titles, which is possible to choose at the moment in bulk edit by selecting a category and leaving the title blank, but you can only edit the listings not delete them

No it's not, you can refine the listings shown in auctions I'm running,
depending on how much you want to refine it.
If it's all items in a store, any one listing from that store will let you select them all.
If it's a parent category, any one item from that parent category, or a sub cat, again any one item from that sub cat. If you have a very large number of listings & don't want to search, you can refine it in stages, everything from a store, then everything from a particular store category etc.
You can also refine by eBid categories.
It's all in the dropdown box, just below the gallery image (if you use one).

Yes I have noticed that option, but it would be much quicker to go to bulk edit and just choose the category, without having to either type in part of a file name or scroll through the listings to find an item in the category you want and then refining your selection.
I have tried both ways and doing it your way does not pick up all items in a category and the quantities do not agree with "bulk edits" results for some reason
