When eBid first starting sending out automatic reminders to buyers who hadn't left feedback, I was a very vocal opponent. I thought it would only antagonize them and that feedback was voluntary. I may have even used the word "spam".
I believe eBid then scaled back to one reminder after 30 days, which I grudgingly accepted. I know other auction sites do this (I get their reminders), so one and only one seemed OK.
In the past few days we've received feedback from several buyers who purchased items from us more than a month ago. All of it favorable. This was obviously triggered by eBid's reminder. And some of the members who bought their first item from us now have feedback from other eBidders, so they weren't antagonized.
I apologize. I was wrong. This was apparently a good decision by eBid.
