Thread: RSS Feed Glitch

  1. #1

    Default RSS Feed Glitch

    Hi there,
I'm working on my website and am wanting to use the RSS feeds from my store on there and am getting a glitch when I post my "all categories" rss feed.

This is what I get when I post the rss feed for all my categories ( http://us.ebid.net/perl/rss.cgi?type...-Dragons-Ambry )

and here is what it looks like when I use the rss feed from only my plush category ( http://us.ebid.net/perl/rss.cgi?type...-Dragons-Ambry )

So for some reason the main store/all categories rss feed is messing up and the category specific feeds aren't. Please check into this for me? Thanks!

We'll need to know what you are using to view the feeds. Browsers show the feed ok.

I'm using the newsfeed module included in the Joomla CMS ( http://www.joomla.org ) and my website I'm working on is http://www.lacedragon.com . I've put the glitched feed back up on the front page so you can take a look at it.

It also looks like it's messing with the footer of the page breaking the layout. I just tried the misc category and the clothing category and they mess up too. Only the plush category feed does not mess up, weird.

Thanks for checking into this for me.

A few days ago I asked about this on the official Joomla forums but have not gotten any response from them.

Do you have any new news about this?

What I am wondering is why only certain auction items mess up and others don't. This points to that it is the actual feed and not the Joomla...? I have tried closing and reposting some of the auctions that are messing up but they still mess up the same way.

    Thanks for your help.
