Just seen this message when I clicked on the "turn of safe search" link, now shouldn't the message appear before people access the site?

Oh and before anyone asks or say's what was I doing in the adult section, I can honestly say I was not there I was looking at the promotional items

Are you working on the assumption that people have to be 18 to use the site? They don't. They :

1. must be able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law
2. must not be a minor.

The age a beneath which a person is considered a minor varies by country (e.g. persons 16 and over are not classed as minors in Scotland - but are still restricted on items such as R18 films.

The age at which a person is able to form a contract, and to what level, also varies and was discussed here recently.

So you can't say that someone has to be 18 to use the site as defined by the site's T&Cs - but you can apply that restriction to adult services.

and I guess using a website or buying items is one thing, and getting an eyefull of questionable stuff is another. Can't stop either one if you have a computer whether you are over 18 or not unless parents use lockouts.
