Default How do I find my items that are not in a store?

I have been updating my stores and changed some of the sub-cats now a few items are not in the stores. How do I find out which ones they are?

With the new look I decided to change the book categories to show authors.
When I closed a store category the items went back to being listed but not in a shop as usual.

I then realised they did not show automatically as they had before on the page as the information about categories (well I could not find it) - I had to go through 'Auctions I'm Running' and check each one under the 'All Categories' button under the picture on the left until I found the missing ones.

Maybe there is an easier way but I don't know it. Took a while but the numbers for sale match the total of all shop contents.

Go to auctions I'm running and export everything. Then look in the file for column "C" being " ". Column C holds your shop id, cat and sub-cat as, for example, "1:8b". Anything with just a space in quotes is not in a shop.

I don't fancy 'exporting' things in case I can't get them back - wimp or what!

I will stick to the slow way just in case

It doesn't change anything on ebid, it just produces a text file of all your current listings for you to look at. I've just done mine for the same purpose. Look at text file, spot blank shops, edit on ebid. Easy peasy.

Thank you - I thought it meant you emptied 'eBid'

    - when an item sells I have been going through the Shop categories to remove (permanently) any empty ones. Don't like empty cats or subcats and they are so easy to put back if more stock appears.

Your way is easier - thanks again....

Thanks for the answers. I'll give it a try. Next time I change cats or sub cats, I'll put new ones in and move items to it before deleting unwanted ones.
