Guys,

I`d like to take a moment and say thank you for providing such an excellent service. I love the way ebid works and mostly on it`s looks, however if I were to nit pick, then it would be on colour, part of the site IMHO comes across as old looking and would put some people off using the site.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to many years of ebid.

Oh right new colours hey, I guess it depends on the shades of the Purple and Green.

As a webmaster, I know how important it is to have a good colour balance within a site, orange, yellow and blue are also good as they are cheerful colours and can give a nice clean crisp feel to a design.

Is there a date when the new colours come into effect? does this also mean we`re having a new template to the site too?

Not sure what template you are referring to - so can't answer that.

Even if there had you can't rely on an eBid date. They generally give things as 'in the next x months' but are usually wrong. The newsletter stated the design work was finished in the middle of June and would start being built into the site - not noticed much activity though.

No. No previews as far as I am aware. We were only recently told, after some probing, that the colour scheme would be purple/green (or was that just the logo?). This is the design team cabedge.com if you want to look at some of their other work.
