Yes that is what gets sent buy seller/buyer. The couple I got recently from a buyer I deleted but I still have one that came when I won an eBid car sticker back in 2007 and the one Terry has posted matches the wording as can be seen below.

Whaling is illegal, unless you happen to be Japanese, Norwegian, Icelandic or a few other nations that don't recognise the moratorium imposed by the IWC.

So no, there shouldn't be any whaling at eBid, let alone constant.

It would appear to me that Ken has summed it up in one sentence. In my opinion, the exact wording is irrelevant it is still a 'request' for feedback on the sellers behalf. The sellers name is still contained within the email.
I must admit (well, Im not perfect) that I reacted upon seeing the email subject line...'FEEDBACK REQUIRED' ... I can see that the general consensus is that it is acceptable...I disagree.

Really? I've followed the whole thread, and just read back through the last two pages as a reminder, and I don't get any such "consensus". I think *some* people think it's fine, a few of us think the wording's better than we feared but still are anti, and most people just want to be able to opt-out of having them sent. Not that it makes any difference.

Terry is right - it's the header and the wording that needs attention.

The email could say 'Feedback Request' even - it would not seem so demanding to some customers ( who will sometimes be offended at the slightest thing!)
