Hi e1,

Joined yesterday but I've visited this site before, about 2 yrs ago, and my how it has grown!! Kudos to you all!!

Now, I have some questions about posting auctions that I can't seem to find an answer to:

1. Does ebid offer different page templates to use for the auction page?

2. Would it be possible to use an outside source such as SellerSourceBook.com for auction templates?


I'm sure a few here have used that site as SSB's templates are beautiful. I'm obviously only referring to the templates themselves and not using them as an image hosting site since eBid does at least offer more free images to be used than eBay ever will.

Hi Laura and welcome to Ebid.
I don't think it would be a problem as there are some sellers on Ebid who sell templates.
I use http://www.desacs.com/ , so I don't think it a problem with the Seller Source Book.

Of course I could be wrong. LOL!

Quite a lot of them are free and you can also use there step by step creator. Once you have finished you can copy and paste it into notepad to use again. You can also copy and paste them into Microsoft front page, remember to have the page open in html, then when you have finished you open it in normal and edit the template to suit your needs. They are so easy to use. There is also a blank temple you can customise, also free. It is a very good site.

If all else fails with the templates, there are quite a few members here that do auction templates and give excellent customer support and help to go with it if you get stuck.
