Default Edit Problem - Can't change quantity

I have relisted several items from the closed list. I need to change the qty on some of them from dutch auction to single auction. I have tried every one and none of them will change from 2 qty to 1 qty. The notice at the top of the page says I should be able to change any information I like. I was able to change the category and a couple other things, but not the qty. They stay as dutch.

One auction I was able to change qty by closing it and making a new auction then deleting the closed one, but this seems to be going around your elbow to get to the thumb.

What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thanks

You are doing nothing wrong. You are just trying to do something that eBid will not let you do. The quickest method to get around it is to close and repost as described at: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/astral....icks.htm#a0011

Great information, Thank you so much. I went to the knowledge base but missed it.

Thanks for the quick response from Damian and Mel.

Just close the auction, wait until it's in your sold section.
Instead of ticking the little box, click on the item title instead. It will take you to the auction page. Just click on the link to relist (top right corner) and it will open into edit format. You can change anything you want then, even the amts.

You could also choose the "list similar item" option (underneath "edit" in Auctions I'm Running), edit quantity and save, and then close/delete the original item.

Don't imagine it makes much difference in time or convenience compared to JewelEffects' suggestion - just another option!
