Important note: notify all your good customers that you made the switch. Doing this targets good customers who bought your speciality items in past. This is much more effective advertising than ebid advertising to the general public.

The poster was not promoting any other sites any more than other posters who mention eBay are promoting that particular site. Stating the name of another site and saying it shows up higher in the Google search results doesn't sound like something punishable by banning.

So were do you draw the line Mark ?

If everyone who mentioned eBay in any capacity was banned for "blatant defamatory comments aimed at undermining eBid as a business & Promoting competitor sites", then this would be a dead forum. EBid can't exist without eBay. The same cannot be said for the reverse.

and can not proved, unless eby goes bust.

Personally I think your totally wrong.
eby and ebid have proved there is an internet market,
and if eby became extinct, life would still go on.
And ebid is ready and able to pick up the pace.
