    Default Problem with back button

Just adding an auction. Looked for a picture to add, but didn't have one, so cancelled out of the gallery, left the picture unfilled and carried on...

Filled all the rest of the details in, but forgot to change from my default "gallery" to "free". Hit preview and got the expected error page telling me I didn't have a picture.

Didn't want a picture, so couldn't use the "fix" fields provided (image URL etc) so hit the "back" link (not my browser button) as instructed, to return to the edit page.

Unfortunately it seems it actually returns it to the some step in the checking/preview process, not the edit page. This then fails in exactly the same way - of course, there's still no picture - and I end up back where I started.

Tried a few times, same results.

Impossible to return to the edit page.

Gave up and lost all work.

    Rats!

Please can the back link be fixed so that it works when picture errors occur? Thanks.

It's aways useful to have confirmation, thanks. Like you, I managed to list again avoiding the trap, but it's clearly something support need to address when they've got the proverbial "minute".

And while I'm here, welcome aboard. Looking at your join date you obviously did what I did - looked a while ago and thought "nope", looked again more recently and thought "now it makes sense..."

Must be a hiccup going thru system, I just had trouble logging in a few minutes ago, took about 10 minutes to get beyond the welcome page. Went back and cleaned up my cookies and it worked!

Also, if you noticed newbie complained yesterday about having trouble with pictures disappearing when they were finishing their listing? I had same trouble, happened first time last week and then yesterday too. I think it happened after the pictures were chosen, and I went to end of listing to add 2nd category. After I did that the pictures were gone. Might be they were not saved and when the cat gave me sub cat options, and the screen refreshed, it knocked out photos (no, I am obviously no techie). Just thought you should know.

    Thank you!

I don't think so, I think it's a design fault that only shows in these particular circumstances. But Gazza's on the case, so I'm sure it'll be fixed soon!
